We really settled into our new routine this week. It has been going well. The weather has been dreary the past few days, but rain here equals water in your cistern and we get excited about that. We leave tomorrow afternoon for Provo for our Special Day Assembly. We are staying with a young couple there and will return Sunday. We are very excited! Chad will be the chairman for the afternoon session. He is quickly gaining responsibilities and being useful in the congregation. He will now be conducting the Watchtower and serving as the Service Overseer. He will give a talk every third Sunday in addition to other weekly parts. I have already substituted as a householder and have my first official talk in May. I will also be on the rotation for reading the Watchtower on Sundays. We look forward to the experience we will gain over the next year.
We hope all is well back home and still welcome calls and messages from everyone! We thank those who have been in touch. It is nice staying connected with friends and family. More updates and pictures to come after the assembly. I leave you with this image of humbled feet :) Trust me, they are often much worse than you see here.
